Lyric Sold
| Last month, a majority of Loudon City council voted
to sell the Lyric Theater building and an adjoining property to Gordon
Whitner for $282,348.00. Whitner had been leasing the building from the
city with an option to buy for several years. Whitner has been using the
property for a meeting venue for sometime. Whitner has requested a beer
permit for the Lyric. The hearing is set for July 24th. Mr. Whitner is also the operator of the LOCO Drive In in Loudon |
