Low Turnout

The August election is historically the lowest turnout election of all elections. And given that there are only two contested races on the ballot, this one could be real low turnout.

Even though we've only had one and a half days of early voting, you can see that the numbers are pretty low given that there are nearly 33,000 registered voters in Loudon County.

Remember, this is the county general election and state primary election. You will be asked for party preference for the state primary but regardless of your choice, you will be able to vote in any of the county elections.
