News Herald Arrest Report
Loudon woman threatens to kill
dogs
Loudon
County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Sam Harrison was dispatched
Saturday to the area of Ferry and Park streets in Loudon for
a woman who was knocking on the doors of neighbors and
threatening to kill their dogs.
Harrison met Jerrika Lindsey Wheeler, 29, Loudon, who was “extremely irrational” and had a strong odor of alcohol. She also had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and difficulty maintaining balance, according to Harrison’s report. “Prior to contact, she had just left an off-duty Loudon County deputy’s home and through the course of their conversation she implied she would shoot a police officer with an AK,” Harrison wrote in a report. “She had been going door to door threatening to shoot people’s dogs and was looking for a German shepherd that was a problem on the street.”
After taken into
custody, Wheeler allegedly continued to scream
obscenities, failed to cooperate and became
“increasingly combative.”
Wheeler was charged with public intoxication and released without bond. Man driving stolen vehicle
A
Columbus, Ohio, man is facing drug charges after
Tennessee Highway Patrol initiated a Sept. 8 traffic
stop.
THP Trooper Ryan Fletcher watched a black Range Rover travel northbound on Interstate 75 in the left lane at around 68-71 miles per hour. The vehicle remained in the left lane from the 60 mile-marker to the 75.6 mile-marker, where Fletcher conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, Amadou Djoulde Bah, 29, couldn’t provide a driver’s license or identification. “While speaking with Bah, I could smell a strong odor of marijuana present,” Fletcher wrote in a report. “Bah advised people had smoked marijuana in and around the car. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed several large bags of THC products weighing approximately 5 pounds, as well as marijuana residue in the seats and carpet area.” Fletcher later learned the vehicle had been stolen in Columbus, Ohio, in January. Bah was charged with theft of property and simple possession/casual exchange and held on $19,000 bond. Sept. 7
