News Herald Arrest Report
Loudon man charged with
harassment
A
Loudon man was arrested Oct. 25 and charged with harassment
after repeatedly sending threatening and suggestive messages
to a woman.
The woman filed a report Sept. 21 with the Loudon County Sheriffs Office detailing how she had been receiving multiple harassing text messages per day from an unfamiliar number. The messages were provocative and frightened the woman because they contained knowledge of her personal life. An investigation was opened and the number was found to be associated with Ron Jeffery Lee, 56. A warrant was put out for his arrest. On Oct. 25, a Lenoir City Police officer observed a pickup truck speeding in a 20 mph zone and initiated a traffic stop. After the officer talked with Lee, the driver, and learned of the active warrant, Lee was arrested and transported to Loudon County Jail.
Lee was charged
