Loudon County Fire / Rescue is
beginning their FY 2024-2025 fundraiser. The letter shown here will
be mailed out beginning next week. You may receive the fundraiser
letter in a couple weeks or even as late as early next year. We are
at the mercy of the postal service due to it being bulk mail.
This is the only fundraiser
that Loudon County Fire / Rescue conducts. The donations of
homeowners and businesses makes up half of the department's budget.
The other half is provided by a donation from Loudon County
Commission and United Way. This funding supports building
maintenance, utilities, apparatus, equipment and insurance. The
firefighters of Loudon County Fire / Rescue are 100% volunteer and
do not receive compensation.
This year, at the request of
many residents, we have made it available to donate via a credit
card or Paypal. If you donate via this method, please include in
the comments box your name, address and reference number so we can
credit the correct account.
We appreciate all who donate.
Without you, we could not provide fire and rescue services to the
citizens of Loudon County.
