Loudon County couple arrested on tax evasion charges
LOUDON (WATE) – A Loudon County couple has been arrested on tax
evasion charges relating to what officials say was the false
registration of vehicles and a boat.
Bond for Michael Russel, 44, and Christy Russell, 38, is set at $2,000 each. The two were indicted by a grand jury on April 11 on one count each of tax evasion. If convicted, they could face a maximum of two years in state prison and a fine of up to $3,000 each. The Tennessee Department of Revenue and District Attorney General Russell Johnson are investigating. |
