Long, Long Meeting
| Monday's county commission meeting turned into a bit
of a marathon. The public comment time lasted nearly an hour and a half.
Then commission had many, many items on the agenda to address.
Everything from bailing out Lenoir City, again, to voting to allow the
BOE to use their money to buy the property for the new school, to
allocating the ten million dollars in the American recovery money. And
lots more. The commission did approve the BOE money, so the next step in the process can begin. I'll have updated stories Monday on many of the actions taken at the meeting. |
