Lenoir City woman jailed after
threats
A Lenoir City woman was charged after threatening a man and woman and resisting officers. Loudon County Sheriffs Office Deputy Nathaniel Reagan responded Thursday to an address in Lenoir City after a woman made threats toward another woman and man. Regina Arlone Helton, 44, had already returned to her home when Reagan arrived.
The
woman told Reagan that Helton threatened to cause the couple
harm. When they asked Helton to leave, she refused and
continued threats, according to a report. A neighbors
camera showed Helton on the property. The couple told Reagan
they were afraid Helton would cause harm to them or their
children.
When Reagan tried to talk with Helton at her home, she refused to answer the door. Later in the day, Reagan responded again in reference to a neighbors video showing Helton leaving trash in the couples yard. When Reagan arrived, he saw Helton on her porch, but she quickly went inside the home and locked the door. Four other deputies then responded to the residence, and a LCSO supervisor attempted to reach Helton by phone. After learning Helton had an active felony warrant for aggravated assault with Lenoir City Police Department for a previous incident, deputies entered Heltons residence. Helton hid in a back room under clothes and blankets. Helton was charged with aggravated assault, assault and resisting arrest and held on $9,000 bond. Sept. 16 Charles Ray Best, 82, Lenoir City, was charged with assault and two counts of domestic assault and released on $3,000 bond. Jose Manfredo Borjas-Gonzales, 34, Rockwood, was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license, driving under the influence and violation of implied consent and held on $4,000 bond. Logan Zain McDonald, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond. Marty Allen Mills, 41, Lenoir City, was charged with criminal trespass and released without bond. charged with driving on a suspended license,
financial responsibility law, following too
close and misuse of evidence of registration and
held on $1,000 bond.
