Lenoir City officer finds pot in traffic stop
Two men are facing multiple charges after law
enforcement initially caught them speeding in a 40 mph zone.
Conducting standard radar checking on U.S. Highway
321, Lenoir City Police Officer Shannon Runyan detected a vehicle
traveling 80 mph. Runyan initiated a traffic stop at the
intersection of Highways 11 and 321.
In the report, Runyan noted the 2017 black Audi did
not stop and instead continued toward the bridge heading to
Maryville. The vehicle did not come to a stop until one mile after
Runyan turned on the blue lights.
I did smell an odor commonly associated with
marijuana coming from inside the car and during removal of driver
and passenger ... a handgun was seen in the passenger floor board
and for officer safety both males were placed into cuffs, Runyan
wrote in the report.
During a search of the vehicle, Runyan found 3.7
grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, THC wax,
a set of digital scales, plastic baggies, several glass pipes, a
Taurus .38-caliber handgun and four long guns/rifles/shotguns, one
of which was stolen from Georgia.
The driver of the vehicle, Daniel Vasile Tindell, 24,
Clinton, was charged with theft, possession of a handgun while under
the influence, failure to obey police officer, possession of drug
paraphernalia, driving on a revoked/suspended license and speeding
and held without bond.
Matthew O. Tindell, 19, Knoxville, who was a
passenger, was charged with manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a
Schedule VI substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession
of a handgun while under the influence and theft of property and
held without bond.

Douglas Shane Sledge, 37, Sweetwater, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on $2,000
bond.
Oct. 17
Kayla Camille Crass, 26, Madisonville, was charged
with possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $2,000 bond.
Samantha Colleen Delk, 24, Lenoir City, was charged
with possession of drug paraphernalia and released on $2,000 bond.
Zachary Ryan Enos, 25, Fort Worth, Texas, was
charged with simple possession/casual exchange and possession of
drug paraphernalia and held on $8,000 bond.
Candice Nicole Evans, 30, Lenoir City, was charged
with theft under $1,000 and released without bond.
Tammie Jane Fair, 43, Rockwood, was charged with
failure to appear-municipal court and held without bond.
Jeremiah Michael Hartline, 39, Lenoir City, was
charged with driving under the influence and released on $1,000
bond.
Regina Arlone Helton, 38, Lenoir City, was charged
with three counts of illegal possession/fraudulent use of a credit
card and theft under $1,000 and released on 4,000 bond.
Lequwon Andrew Hill, 22, Kansas City, Mo., was
charged with fugitive from justice and held without bond.
Linda Jewell Wright, 55, Maryville, was charged
with manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of a Schedule II
substance and possession of legend drugs and released on $17,000
bond.
Jay Ronald Oliver, 30, Loudon, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule IV
substance and held on $4,000 bond.

Burlen Jay Ballard, 49, Loudon, was charged with
domestic assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,000 bond.
Bradley Lamarr Butts, 21, Sweetwater, was charged
with failure to appear and released on $4,000 bond.
Krystal Lynn Cannon, 31, Lenoir City, was charged
with two counts of failure to appear and held on $5,000 bond.
William Christopher Griffin, 36, Kingston, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and criminal
impersonation and held without bond.
Mary Leeann Hobbs, 35, Maryville, was charged with
contraband in a penal institution and held on $5,000 bond.
Susan Fox Wilkerson, 53, Lenoir City, was charged
with violation of probation and released on $1,000 bond.
Ashley Elizabeth James, 37, Loudon, was charged
with assisting other agency, possession of drug paraphernalia and
simple possession/casual exchange and held on $3,000 bond.
Lana Nicole Marsh, 37, Loudon, was charged with
possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession/casual
exchange and held on $3,000 bond.
Richard Wayne McCollum, 40, Loudon, was charged
with violation of probation and held without bond.
Jonathan Lee Monroe, 40, Clinton, was charged with
violation of probation and released on $2,000 bond.
Rhonda Renee Pace, 47, Loudon, was charged with
driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident
with property damage and released on $2,500 bond.
Roxanna Faye Phillips, 30, Clinton, was charged
with failure to appear-municipal court and released on $2,000 bond.
Hollis W. Stamey, 58, Loudon, was charged with
driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond.
Damarcus Wesley Taylor, 42, Madisonville, was
charged with failure to appear and released on $1,000 bond.

Jose Hipoli Castillo-Vasquez, 35, Knoxville, was
charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on
$2,000 bond.
Karen Marie Davidson, 27, Maryville, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license, manufacture, delivery,
sale or possession of a Schedule II substance, contraband in a penal
institution, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear
and held on $72,000 bond.
Kristina Elizabeth Jones, 49, Philadelphia, was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture,
deliver, sale, possession of a Schedule II substance and held on
$52,000 bond.
Gary Neal Norman, 45, Loudon, was charged with
manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule II substance and
held without bond.
Steven Ray Ratledge, 35, Friendsville, was charged
with failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000 bond.
Natalia Isabelle Velasquez, 22, Knoxville, was
charged with public intoxication and released on $1,000 bond.
Bobby Lee White, 48, Loudon, was charged with a
juvenile attachment and released on $482 bond.

Matthew Paul Bingham, 39, Lenoir City, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on $2,000
bond.
Hayley M. Webb, 23, Alcoa, was charged with failure
to appear, public intoxication, reckless endangerment and resisting
arrest and held on $29,000 bond.
Christian Peyton Bennett, 21, Lenoir City, was
charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and manufacture,
deliver, sale, possession of a Schedule II substance and held
without bond. Dispatched to a local market on Highway 11 for a
suspicious male who had been asleep in the parking lot for an hour,
Loudon County Sheriffs Office Cpl. Pete McGinley and Inv. Lt.
Patrick Upton awoke Bennett, who appeared to be nervous and
confused. He was asked to step outside the vehicle, and at that
point Upton noticed a blue bag with a clear substance believed to be
methamphetamine. The narcotics unit was called to the scene and
weighed 3.8 grams of meth. Mr. Bennett stated that he was going to
get cigarettes, but he had no cash. There was also a ski mask in the
passenger seat, one open knife and one can cut open, the report
reads. The can was used to heat up illegal narcotics.
Marina Joann Rhymes, 55, Lenoir City, was charged
with theft under $1,000 and released on without bond.
Oct. 21
Anthony Dewayne Finkle, 31, Philadelphia, was
charged with two counts of simple possession/casual exchange and
held without bond.
Cheynn Klaxton Hamby, 48, Loudon, was charged with
domestic assault-misdemeanor and released on $1,500 bond.
Ronnie Alden McMillan, 78, Lenoir City, was charged
with simple possession/casual exchange and released on $2,000 bond.
Emily Brooke Orr, 21, Lenoir City, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license, driving under the influence
and possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $3,500 bond.
Leslie Jean Skinner, 46, Greenback, was charged
with violation of probation and held without bond.
Jose Luis Tadeo, 32, Knoxville, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and held on $2,000 bond.
Oct. 22
Wanda Beets Chrisman, 59, Lenoir City, was charged
with violation of probation and held without bond.
Hugh Bryan Clemmer, 47, Tellico Plains, was charged
with two counts of manufacture, sell, delivery, resale of a Schedule
II substance and held on $30,000 bond.
Joseph George Faddoul, 31, Knoxville, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license and released on $2,000
bond.
John David Junkins, 50, Middletown, Ohio, was
charged with driving under the influence and driving on a
revoked/suspended license and held on $9,000 bond.
Kevin Mark Pennington, 38, Philadelphia, was
charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held without
bond.
Lisa Jean Roberts, 42, Madisonville, was charged
with driving on a revoked/suspended license, possession of legend
drugs and criminal impersonation and held on $6,000 bond.
Michael Allen Sutton, 34, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and failure to appear-general
sessions and held without bond.
Becky Juanita Viars, 47, Loudon, was charged with
driving on a revoked/suspended license and shoplifting and released
