A Lenoir CIty man died in a crash on N. Gallaher View Road Monday, according to Knoxville Police. 

KPD said officers responded to the wreck involving a 2015 Hyundai and a 2005 Pontiac around 4:40 p.m. According to investigators, The driver of the Hyundai, Joseph Michael Giacobbe, pulled out of a parking lot onto Gallaher View Road into the path of the Pontiac.

The 17-year-old driver of the Pontiac was unable to stop and crashed into the driver's side of the Hyundai.

Giacobbe was killed in the crash. The Knoxville teenager was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
