Lenoir City man jailed after gun

A Lenoir City man was arrested April 16 after threatening two people with a gun during an argument.

Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Shane Gaumer responded to an incident allegedly involving a man with a rifle who encountered two individuals arguing outside the residence. One person said they had come to the residence to pick up the other person’s mother, but was blocked at the door by Jamey Brian Lynn, 52.

During a verbal argument, Lynn reportedly went inside the residence, returned with a .22-caliber rifle and pointed the weapon at both individuals. One person yelled “run” as both fled the scene and called 911.

Gaumer later spoke to the woman the two had been there to pick up who witnessed the incident and confirmed what they reported.

Lynn was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and convicted felon in possession of a firearm and held without bond.

• Jessica Louise Murray, 36, Madisonville, was charged with reckless endangerment, evading arrest, leaving the scene of accident with property damage, reckless driving, financial responsibility law, expiration of certificates and plates, driving without a valid license, traffic control signals and speed limit and held on $24,000 bond.

• Mickey Dillon Tutt, 26, Sweetwater, was charged with assisting other agency and released without bond.

• Julio Morales Zamudio, 32, Lenoir City, was charged with capias-general sessions and released on $12,000 bond.
