Lenoir City man indicted in January Knoxville murder
A Lenoir City man has been indicted in a January Knoxville murder, according to court records

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Lenoir City man has been indicted for first-degree murder in the death of a woman in January in Knoxville.

The indictment comes after Knoxville Police Department officers took Reginald Depriest, 26, into custody on Jan. 5. He had turned himself in, according to KPD.

Also according to the department, Depriest killed a woman, later identified as 39-year-old Andrea Moore, at a Western Heights apartment in the 1400 block of W. Oldham Avenue.

The investigation was prompted by a call saying there was a body inside the apartment. At the time, police called the death “suspicious in nature.”
