Lenoir City man charged with
assault
A
Lenoir City man is facing an assault charge after he
allegedly placed a pillow over a womans face and applied
enough pressure that she couldnt breathe.
According to a report from Loudon County Sheriffs Office
Deputy Mark Rodriguez, Chad Stuart Nicewarner, 42, and a
woman were discussing an issue Sunday night on Lakeland
Drive when Nicewarner became irate and broke a hair brush
and the womans phone. When she tried to scream out a
window, Nicewarner put a pillow over her face, according to
the report.
She
advised she was in fear for her life and thought she was
going to die, Rodriguez wrote in a report. She was able to
get him off her and that is when law enforcement arrived.
The woman had a knot on her forehead and a bloody nose, according to the report.
Nicewarner told deputies he placed his hand over the womans
mouth when she was screaming to keep the neighbors from
hearing her. Nicewarner was determined the primary
aggressor.
Nicewarner was charged with aggravated assault and held
without bond.
