Lenoir City man charged after
chase
A Lenoir City man is facing five charges after leading law enforcement on a vehicle chase. Loudon County Sheriffs Office Deputy Charles Watson noticed a vehicle Sept. 1 on Highway 11 after the driver turned into a driveway, shut off the vehicles lights, remained stationary momentarily and then drove in the other direction.
After
observing the vehicle cross the fog line and run off the
side of the highway, Watson attempted a traffic stop. The
driver then made an abrupt right turn and accelerated.
Watson informed dispatch and began pursuit.
The vehicle continued through
Cusick Circle and turned right onto Lingenfelter Lane before
coming to a dead end. A man, later identified as Jacob Ryan
