LCSO ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SCAMMERS POSING AS A COLLECTIONS AGENCY

Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are working a scam involving a person or persons posing as a legitimate collection company out of Kansas named ARSI.

LCSO has received a complaint from a resident in our area that was contacted by a person posing as a representative of ARSI. This person claimed the resident had a debt with this company, but the resident denied any debt at all and concluded the telephone call. A few hours later, an unknown male showed up at the residence. When no one answered the door, the man left in a white van with ARSI on the side. Investigators contacted the company and they affirmed that they do not conduct in person collections and do not have company vans.

The safety and welfare of our community is of utmost importance. The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division is on the lookout for these subjects.
