Often times in local elections, there's not always that much difference in competing candidates for office. But in my race, the differences are huge. My opponent, Ms. Yarbrough, and my positions on the issues could not be more different. By her public statements and her votes while in office, she strongly believes in bigger government, higher taxes and more spending. In contrast, by my public statements and votes, I believe in smaller government, lower taxes and less spending. Our positions could not be more different.

So with four more days of early voting and election day May 1st, I once again ask for your vote and support. And even if you don't live in the 5th district, ask your friends and family that do, to vote for me. I for one have no desire to pay any higher taxes than I do now.
