I Will Go To Work For You
For
those who have already cast your ballot during the
early voting period, thank you! If you have yet to
do so, I would certainly appreciate your
consideration.
Throughout this election cycle, I’ve done my best to
shine a spotlight a few current policies and
direction our city is headed that I feel need a
change; for which I’ve had a lot of good feedback
on. A friend once told me that where she was from in
Kentucky, the mindset was “you’re either for us or
against us”. A similar theme seems to run deep in
local politics. While I may have a difference of
opinion on some vital topics than the current
administration and council do, that doesn’t
necessarily mean that I am against them. Quite the
contrary, I am for them; I am for all of Lenoir
City.
I
believe that any efficient and effective government
must have checks and balances, a variety of opinions
that celebrates critical and well rounded thinking.
If I am blessed with the opportunity to serve you as
your next councilman, I will be an independent
thinker and your voice at City Hall.
If you
have yet to vote, please know that I will go to work
for you. This is more than a cliché political
slogan, it’s how I live my life. My years of
experience in development and government operations
has prepared me to make an impact on day one. I ask
you to join me as we make Lenoir City the best it
can be, not only for us, but for the future
generations.
