Junk Yard Tabled
| The question of allowing a junk yard in the city of
Loudon was tabled by the Loudon City Planning Commission last week.
Apparently, the board wanted to get some clarification on certain laws.
The item will again be on the planning commissions agenda for further
consideration.
There seemed to be some disagreement by the property owner as to the intended use of the property. Planners have to consider the long range implications of any property use approvals. While a current owner may have the best intentions, a future owner or user may have different plans all together. The next meeting of the Loudon City planning commission will be October 2nd.
