Junction Work Underway

Since it's completion in the early 1930's, the merging of Hwy. 70 and Hwy 11 just inside Loudon County Has been the site of untold accidents, deaths and property damage. That intersection is known as Dixie Lee Junction.

For more years than anyone can remember, the intersection was going to be improved and fixed. The time for the fix is now.

Construction on the new intersection is underway and is expected to be completed sometime this summer.

Long overdue and greatly needed.
