Joe Morrison It Is
| At Monday's county commission
meeting, Joe Morrison was unanimously approved to fill the 5th district
commission seat of the late Commissioner, Harold Duff. Commissioner Duff
passed away November 10th.
Morrison is a 25-year employee
of Covenant Health where he works in the IT Department. He has a
bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum College
and an associate degree in business management and information
technology from Roane State Community College.
He's a conservative
Republican who shares the same values as Commissioner Duff.
Morrison is married to Mr. Duff’s niece, Lisa. Immediately after being appointed to the seat, county mayor, Buddy Bradshaw swore Morrison in and he was able to take the seat to bring the commission back to full membership. |
