Illegal Annexation 29
Date Set
| Last week, Circuit Court judge, Mike Pemberton, held
a conference call with all the lawyers involved in the two Lenoir City
illegal annexations. The purpose of the call was to set certain
deadlines for the upcoming trial.
The trial date has been set for June 4th, 2025. If that date holds out, it will 28 months since the county first sued the city for their illegal actions. The wheels of justice do turn slow, but they will turn. |
