October 2021 Still Sleepy Joe In Office.
| As we are all at the mercy of the ever rising gas
prices, some think the government is going to do something about the
weekly increases. What some don't understand is, this government wants
gas prices as high as possible. Remember the Keystone pipeline idiot Joe
canceled on his first day in office?
You see, we ignorant peasants, with our limited mental capacity, don't understand that by driving our cars, trucks and tractors, we're destroying the world with global warming. If our overlords can get the price of gas high enough, that will force us to drive less because we can't afford to buy gas, thereby saving the planet. The people in charge of the federal government have got to be the dumbest humans to ever live. Just remember on top of the price of gas is a lot of taxes. Total state tax per gallon of gas is now 27.4 cents, on diesel 28.4 cents. Federal tax is 18.4 cents per gallon of gas and 24.4 cents per gallon of diesel. Grand total of tax per gallon of gas, 45.8 cents and 52.8 cents on diesel. That's just wrong. Sadly, it's not just the elites in Washington that want gas prices high. Lenoir City officials were on the front lines voting for higher gas prices back in 2017. Some local elites feel the same as the DC dolts. City council backs gas tax News-Herald.net 1/30/17 Lenoir City Council approved a resolution Monday supporting Gov. Bill Haslam’s recommendation to increase the state gas tax. Vice Mayor Eddie Simpson made a motion and Councilwoman Jennifer Wampler seconded in order to send the resolution to Nashville. The vote passed 6-0. |
