After
months long delays from COVID and legal maneuvering, the lawsuit against
Julia Hurley has been set. The case will be heard by Chancellor Williams
on December 21st.
Most know, but for those who do not, Ms. Hurley abandoned her county commission seat back in June of 2019 when she moved out of her elected district. The case has been in the courts for a long time now due to her attorney's attempts to delay the case.
The case is expected to take a day with multiple witnesses to be called.
