Hurley's attorney had filed an appeal with the Tennessee court of appeals. The appeal is not on the merits of the case but about whether a document was singed/filed correctly. Of course, what else could her attorney do when his client herself told the world on social media that she had moved out of her elected district. Hard to defend that. This is just more delay,

The case will be heard before the court on May 12th, 10:00 am, in Knoxville.

June will mark two years since Ms. Hurley moved out of her elected district, vacating her commission seat. In the mean time, Ms. Hurley continues to receive her commissioner pay and benefits while only attending half the meetings.   

Kind of despicable.
