Hurley, 2 Days In April
At the second hearing on the State vs Julia Hurley,
the chancellor made some clarification in the wording on the suit but
assured Ms. Hurley's attorney that the lawsuit was a "perfect" suit.
He also set the trial for two days in April. By then, Hurley will have
vacated her seat for nearly two years. Ms. Hurley has missed every date she claimed she would be moving back to her elected district. Hurley's attorney, T Scott Jones, keeps trying to make a big deal about her moving back. Unfortunately for her, the district attorney's position is that when she moved, she gave up her seat, for good. She didn't come up with the temporary move excuse till she got caught. The wheels of justice are slow but they do turn. Looking forward to April. |
