[2004 to 2012] As Chief, along with dedicated volunteers, developed the
model that turned the Fire
Department into the most effective and
respected amenity in the Village. I am still an active member of the
Fire Department

County Commission in May of 2014
Major
accomplishments that have impacted Tellico Village while serving as your
Commissioner

As Vice Chairman of the
Budget Committee, kept the property tax rate the same without an
increase, adopted the Certified Tax Rate after the reassessment in 2017
-
Increased the county
funding for the Tellico Village Fire Department
-
Instrumental in resolving
the long-standing tax lot issue for the Village
-
Served on the County Jail
Committee that worked out a plan to expand the current jail to resolve
the overcrowding issue and address officers safety. All this without a
tax increase.

for Loudon County

Continue Fiscal
Responsibility and maintain the current property tax rate of $1.8035

Support public safety,
Fire, EMS, EMA and the Sheriff’s Department

Complete the Jail
expansion, with an opening planned for September 2019

Support Education to
insure our children have the best affordable education possible

Protect the best interests
of my Friends and Neighbors in Tellico Village as well as all County
residents
