The new 3,200 sq. ft. build will be primarily used for the storage of voting machines and election equipment. About 900 sq. ft. will be dedicated to for the Loudon County Soil Conservation office.

The election commission has been in desperate need of space for years. The new addition will allow for better storage and security for all voting machines and equipment.

The project is to be completed within 150 days.
