Greenback trailer damaged in fire Staff Reports-dailytimes.com
A trailer in Greenback was damaged in a fire Friday
night, but firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze before it
destroyed the structure.
Greenback Volunteer Fire Department personnel
responded to the fire at 5107 Cedar Church Lane at 8:53 p.m., said
Greenback Fire Chief Ronnie Lett.
The first firefighter was on scene within six
minutes, Lett said, while the first fire truck arrived about
three minutes later. Firefighters had the blaze under control
within about 15 minutes, Lett said.
While damage was left to the living room and a
bedroom, the structure was left standing.
No one was home and no injuries were
reported. Lett said 23 firefighters and eight trucks
responded. The Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department sent
six firefighters and two trucks, Lett said.
The homeowner and resident was identified as
Jeffery Williams.
