Just trying to read through all the smoke, it appears the new proposed plan was going to pretty much let high density development run over west Knox. Three of the five aldermen voted no on the plan pretty much killing it. The reactions of many politicians has been out rage. But what really tells you all you need to know is, all the developer and realtor associations are about to lose their minds they're so mad. They thought they had the deal in the bag.

Knox County is now threatening to bring in the state to make the 3 aldermen change their minds and Knox County is even threatening to withhold certain funding in areas around Farragut.

Just know, if the realtors and developers think something is good, you can bet it's bad for the citizens.

I hope the three aldermen will stick to their guns.
