On Monday 8/24 at 7pm The City of Loudon will be testing a proposed, local emergency alert siren system in the area of Carter and Steekee Streets.

They will be testing again at 7:30pm in the area of Highway 72 and Cedar Park Drive (around Bojangles and Burger King).

These tests will be very loud and will only last a short time. We want to do the very best that we can to alert the citizens of Loudon to these tests in order to hopefully cause as little alarm as we possible. Again, these are only test. When you hear them there is no need to call 911. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation
