Freddie
Gene Walker age 76 of Loudon passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Freddie Gene was a Vietnam veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was a
member of Pine Grove Baptist Church who enjoyed serving the Lord. For
many years he was a volunteer coach for Lenoir City Little League
Football and was also an avid golfer. Freddie Gene was retired from the
Loudon County Sheriff’s Department after 27 years of service as an
investigator. He enjoyed serving on the Loudon County School Board.
Freddie Gene was preceded in death by his wife, of 54 years, Patrina Shirk Walker; parents, Fred A. Walker and Louise Dishner Walker; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Ann “Marty” and Bob Johnson; nephew, Jerry Johnson; brother-in-law, Johnny Richardson. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Candida and Judd Guice; sons and daughter-in-law, Keith Walker, Kevin and Lori Walker; grandchildren: Caitlin and Alec Guice, Matthew Walker, Margaret Louise Walker, Annabelle Walker, Victoria Walker, and Vanna Walker; sisters, Betty Richardson, Bonnie Parris and husband, Eddie Parris; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Naomi Walker; along with many nieces and nephews. Friends may come by the funeral home on Thursday and Friday to pay their respects. Family and friends will gather at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for graveside services and interment. Rev. Johnny Walker and Rev. Farell Green will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the Loudon Co. Veterans Honor Guard. Freddie told his family to express a special thanks to Rob Oody, Logan Oody, Chuck Shants, Chip Matthews, Scott Riggs and Steve Cook for the privilege of playing golf with them.
