Again, note the public notice does not mention the words Sales Tax Increase nor does it mention how much city officials want to raise your taxes again. Kind of a weak public notice I'd say.  The proposal is for a half cent increase. That will add an additional two and a half to three million dollars to the city coffers.

And if you really believe this is for the children or school safety, I've got some swamp land to sale you.
