This was my parents first table when they built their house in 1954. It was out kitchen table all the years I lived at home and many years after. Not sure when mom retired it and it went to our basement, but it's been there for a while. Unfortunately, the chairs didn't survive.

It doesn't look too bad for a 69 year old piece of furniture.

I saw Sarah looking at matching chairs on the internet, I'd say they won't be far behind.

What's next? Are we going to get rid of air conditioning to go retro too?
