March 3rd, 2020 will be the presidential preference primary election. On the local level, the 3rd will also be the county primary election for two offices, Property Assessor and Circuit Court Clerk. The current Loudon County Property Assessor is Mike Campbell and he will be running for re-election. Current Circuit Court Clerk is Steve Harrelson and he will be running for the Circuit Court Clerk.

Candidates for these two offices may pick up qualifying petitions October 14th and will have until December 12th to qualify for the election.

These are the only two county offices on the March 2020 ballot. In August 2020, a majority of the Loudon County school board member seats will be up for re-election.
