Covenant Storage

A representative of Covenant Health was in attendance at the last Lenoir City Planning Commission meeting to discuses the use of the former Aubrey's building near the hospital.

Covenant Health is asking to use the building for storage for 24 months. The hospital will soon begin an expansion of their building and plan to use the old Aubrey's building to store various items to be moved during the expansion. The rep also said, they will be using the parking lot for employee parking. When asked about the future of the building after the 24 month storage, the rep said they plan to convert the building into office space of some kind for the hospital. There are no plans to tear down the building.

Covenant bought the property back in March from Oliver A Smith IV Trustee, for $2,000,000.00 requiring Aubrey's restaurant to close and supposedly relocate just across Highway 321.
