Loudon County Highway Superintendent, Billy Pickle, found minutes from the November 1969 county commission meeting minutes here the commission adopted and described an official county flag. I gave a copy of the description to Sarah and she drew up a copy of what the flag looks like.

The coat of arms on the flag is that of the Earl Of Loudoun. This is who Fort Loudoun was named for.

Now we all know, Loudon County does in fact have an official flag.
