A couple of months ago, I had a little health episode.  Ended up getting three stents put in and all that goes with that. Well, last week we got the bill. The cost to keep me living, this time, was $56,686.07. The highlights, three stents, $15,444.00, doctor to put them in, $17,304.00, pharmacy $3,294.00 and so on. Thank goodness for insurance.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm not complaining. I'm just thankful for the skill of the doctors and the technology that allows many of us a few extra years here on earth.

I asked Sarah if we hadn't had insurance would she have helped cover my bill. I think she said yes.
