From Physicians Care:

Valued Patients:

During this difficult time in our world, Physicians Care continues its commitment to provide our community with dependable, quality healthcare in a safe and clean environment. We remain open and are here to provide you with exceptional care for your nonemergent illnesses and injuries. Whether the need is primary care, urgent care or occupational health—we’ve got you covered.

While in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking extra precautions to ensure you feel comfortable coming to our center for a sprained ankle; allergy relief; eye injury; broken bone; ear or sinus infection; cut finger; skin condition; bladder infection; DOT physical or screenings; workplace injuries; UTI; diabetes and blood pressure monitoring—and more!

How We’re Protecting our Patients

Your continued trust is important, and your safety and that of our team members is top priority. As always, Physicians Care continues stringent practices to prevent the spread of illness—and we’ve implemented even more intense measures.

•    We encourage social distancing in our lobby, and we provide a face mask for you to wear during your visit if that makes you more comfortable.

•    We reinforce meticulous cleaning and infection control practices. Our rigorous disinfecting procedures meet or exceed recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). All patient care rooms, lobby chairs and surfaces, restrooms, doors, screens and counters, and other routinely touched surfaces are regularly sanitized.

•    We encourage you to use Hold My Spot™ ( to schedule an approximate visit time. That way, you can rest in the comfort of your home or car and come in to the center when you receive a text.

•    Our front door has a notice that initially screens high-risk patients. If that patient meets any of the noted criteria, the notice instructs the patient to return to his or her car and call us so we can screen that patient appropriately. This ensures limited exposure to patients being seen for noninfectious matters.

Our Healthcare Heroes Are Here for You

Our valued patients are at the heart of everything we do. Our team members are working tirelessly to care for a range of illnesses and injuries. They are your neighbors and are committed to you, as they live and work in the community, too. Daily, their priority is ensuring the health and wellness of our community, and we are so very proud of their commitment.

We’re working with local and state partners to monitor the virus  and diminish the threat of this global pandemic.

Thank you for your loyalty and trust—and most of all, for being a part of this incredible community!

For the upcoming Census 2020:  I have been contacted by our Recruiting Specialist requesting help in Loudon County.  Loudon County is 1 of 5 Counties still short of their hiring goal.  Loudon only needs 1 more applicant to apply to go "Green".  Please reach out to all your Chamber, Rotary Club, Agency, Education, Organization, Business and Local Government contacts asking them to utilize Social Media as a tool to motivate Loudon residents to apply to the Census.  I have also observed applicant numbers double when mentioning the need for Census Workers during televised City/County meetings.  Please get the message out to go to 2020Census.Gov/Jobs and apply to work for the Census the hours are flexible, pays $13.50 per hour and .58 cents per mile and is critical to ensuring a complete and accurate count in Loudon County.  Please contact me if you have any question or concerns regarding the 2020 Census.  I will be sending out updated Loudon County Self-Response information by noon.

From Lenoir City Computers/Elite Technology Group:

The rush to get people connected without considering the security risks is our biggest concern about companies and their remote workforce as a result of the CONVID-19 concerns. For example, connecting employees' personal home computers across a VPN to a network, without first checking and sanitizing the computer, could allow malware to steal credentials to corporate systems and the sensitive, proprietary, and regulated data they hold. Elite Technology Group is certified in many aspect of the IT industry and has specific industry certificates in security. For a list of our services, visit www.EliteTechnologyGroup.com.

From East Volunteer Pest Control:

We pray your family is well during this time in of COVID-19.  We want to give you some assurances.  We will continue providing you with quality service.  The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued its Guidance on the Essential Critical Infrastructure Workforce and has provided further detailed guidance on identifying essential critical infrastructure workers. DHS has included as "essential" all the roles workers in the pest control industry play in eliminating pests.  Our role is an essential key to public health and safety.  Pest control cannot prevent COVID-19, but it does control pests that compromise health, therefore weakening the immune system. Our top priority is the health and safety of our customers and our technicians. We are following protocols and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  Pest Control is by nature a limited customer exposure.  We don't touch anything, just spray/dust etc.  We can guarantee absolutely a 6 foot social distance that is recommended for this virus.  We are now wearing a regulated mask as an extra precaution, as well as gloves and boot protectors.  We have altered certain operation procedures to provide extra caution.  For example, we have waived signatures on workorders during this crisis.  We continue to wash hands frequently and especially after each service.  We will give our customers the option of only treating the outside at the time of their service, if they express any concerns.  This is very effective as an alternative, since 90% of our treatment is exterior.  Our employees will stay home if they don’t feel well and see a doctor if necessary.  If you have questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thank you,
Brad Gardner

From The Loudon County Chamber Of Commerce

This is Panos from Gondolier at Lenoir City. Our situation here is the following at the time being:

We still have our doors open to the public, for picking up To Go orders and Dine In. However, we have limited the dine in occupancy of the restaurant to half of the capacity, sitting parties 6 feet away from each other, and we also are not accommodating parties with more than 10 people, according to the guidelines issued from CDC. We have taken all the recommended pre-cautions putting the safety of our customers as our top priority while understanding the community members need for feeding their families. We will remain open serving the community until further notice from the responsible authorities instructing differently.

Thank you,  Panos Martinis - Gondolier Italian Restaurant of Lenoir City, 744 Hwy 321N, Lenoir City, TN-37771

Dear STAR Family Member,

So, isn’t this an interesting predicament we find ourselves in?

One day we will look back and reminisce about living through the COVID-19 outbreak and the appalling lack of toilet paper. But that is not this day. Today we are struggling to not only understand this new challenge but to figure out how to adapt and survive. As a non-profit charity, STAR is dependent on the public to empower special needs individuals through our diverse programs. The income generated from direct services (lesson fees) has stopped. Some participant families are devastated at the prolonged delay as many students will experience drastic setbacks from not being on the horse. While we do not provide therapy, being with the horses exercises the body and mind in a holistic manner that is difficult to replicate. As time passes, the gap will widen, requiring some participants begin again at square one.

Five fundraising events for STAR this spring – three from outside agencies and two internal, have all been pushed to late summer or fall. This means there is essentially no income this Spring. We are now at the mercy of our extended family of supporters who know the value STAR provides to individuals, families and neighbors.

We have been proactive by temporarily sending 12 horses to neighboring farms to help reduce expenses, closing up the South Knox facility to save on utilities, selling some equipment and working out reduced payments with the bank.

So now what?

While we remain positive this will pass, we need your help to weather the storm. Please consider:

1.    Participating in our first ever on-line auction which starts at 8:00 AM on March 25 and Ends at 5:00 PM on April 1. Click here to join the auction

2.    Sharing the auction post so more people will participate

3.    Making a donation by calling (865) 988-4711 with credit card, mailing in a check or clicking on the button below

We understand that everyone is effected by this virus in some way but we sincerely hope your families are not directly hit. Supporting each other from a safe distance is the best we can do it seems. Let us know if we can be of assistance to you.

With much appreciation,  Lynn Petr, Executive Director

-Your hearing aid has broken and is not functioning properly.

-You are a first responder/police and have a hearing aid need, such as cleaning or repair.

We are requesting if someone needs to have their hearing aids checked out, to call to schedule an appointment.  We will make the appointment and will try to do everything to keep the patient in their car.  Please call when arriving to the office and I will come out to the car and hopefully be able to service the aids and return them without anyone having to get into the office.

Once things settle down, we will start scheduling for regular appointments again.

From Ms. C's Bed & Biscuits: Dear Four Legged Kids Parents

We have been staying abreast with the latest updates on the COVID—19, including attending National Webinars designed specifically for Kennel Owners and General Managers. We are pleased to hear the COVID-19 does NOT affect dogs, there is NO risk of your dog getting this virus or transmitting this virus to their human family members. “Our dogs do not get this virus” has been clearly stated, however GOOD HYGIENE, washing your hands with soap and water is still vitally important.  We are happy to inform you, we are remaining open and will continue to provide our overnight (Boarding) and day camp (Daycare) for your canine kids. We have very strict cleaning and disinfecting controls in place, including installing the PetAirapy UV System during the summer of 2018, which kills 99.9% kill rate of viruses and bacteria. In June, 2018 we installed the PetAirpy UV System after the East TN area encountered an outbreak of Bordetella. We were the first kennel in the area to install this UV air purification system. It is inspected and recertified yearly. We’re happy to say, since installation, we’ve not had any respiratory issues with any of our canine guest or our staff. It remains effective and we’re proud to have made that investment in our kennel during 2018.

Sincerely, John & JeanAnn Carrigan - Owners and Founders, Ms C’s Bed & Biscuits

The Sparkly Pig is closed and will remain closed until April 7th unless the situation changes.  I will be glad to meet you there if there is an item you have seen in the past and want to purchase.  Please watch our Facebook page for any revisions to our closing.  We want to make sure everyone is safe during this time.  We appreciate our loyal customers and look forward to seeing you soon.  As always you can  call me at (865) 317-3652 with questions.

Horse Haven of Tennessee continues to work with law enforcement to rescue horses who are victims of neglect and abuse. With the support and generosity of the community, we are able to provide the resources to rehabilitate the horses and find forever homes for them with families who will care for them. During this extraordinary time when our country is dealing with consequences stemming from trying to control the spread of coronavirus, we are caring for 19 horses in our barn. We are following the recommended protocols for personal hygiene among our staff and volunteers and limiting numbers of people present at the barn. For the near term, therefore, we are not offering tours of the barn to the general public. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on the generosity of donors to make the care of the rescued horses possible. Our near term fundraising efforts--which generally consist of hosting events involving groups of people--are limited at this time. Your donation will help Horse Haven continue to provide care and veterinary attention to the 19 rescues.

A message from Town Creek Dentistry:

In response to the American Dental Association’s recommendation yesterday to “postpone elective procedures for the next three weeks”, we will be rescheduling all elective procedures during this period. Please be patient with us as we work through this effort to comply with the ADA’s recommendation. We will continue to see patients and provide non-elective care as usual during this period. In an effort to further minimize contact we will not open our waiting room and only patients receiving treatment will be allowed into the office. When you arrive for treatment, you will please call our office from your car to check in and we will let you know when we’re ready to seat you.

Please be assured that we are taking all precautions and protective measures to prevent the spread of infection. We will keep you updated as we continue to respond to COVID-19.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

The Real Estate Closing Specialists

Dear Valued Customer:

As we continue to monitor the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want you to know that the health and well-being of our customers, staff and communities are of top priority.

We want you to know that we are taking steps to ensure that all of our locations are cleaned appropriately on a regular basis. We are also working to ensure that our employees and staff are well informed and taking all necessary precautions for their health, as well as, that of our customers. We are encouraging everyone to continue to use good hygiene, but to focus on frequent hand washing, the use of hand sanitizers and staying home, if feeling ill or believe they have been exposed to someone with the virus.

Our office locations are open for business at this point, but we may find the need to temporarily close some or all of our office locations to the public in the coming weeks. If this step should become necessary, we would do our best to make electronic delivery of documents available to you so that documents could be signed remotely, if needed or requested, and so that closings could take place timely, where possible. We would do this not only to do our part in helping to curb the spread of the virus, but also so that staff could be shared between office locations.

Additionally, as the situation evolves, if public Register’s Offices and/or other County Offices elect to close their doors, it is important to know that this can affect your closing date as we would be unable to gather necessary data for your closing and/or ensure timely recording of instruments after closing. If any of these events should occur, we believe it would be only for a short time period, but it is important to follow these decisions as they can affect closing dates which may, in turn, necessitate, amendments to purchase agreements and/or other contractual documents which are a part of your transaction in order to extend closing dates should that become necessary.

Finally, you can always reach our offices by calling any of our office locations or by emailing us at titleone@title-one.net. Even if our staff were required to work remotely, we would continually be checking phones, messages, and emails to ensure your transactions are being handled appropriately.

Thank you for your assistance, patience and cooperation as we continue to evaluate and adapt to these changing times.
