Just because your assessment/property values may have gone up, a lot in some cases, that does not mean your property taxes will go up. Chances are, the property tax bill will remain about the same as it has been. Unless your county commissioners or city council's raise your property tax rates.

Now is the time to be sure to let your elected officials know you don't want a property tax increase.
