At a later date, I will do a dedicated page on the November election with all the information on the election and all candidates. However, I have already had a lot of contacts asking about the challenger candidates in the Lenoir City election.

Recently, a city official chided me saying he couldn't believe I was recruiting, supporting and endorsing the challenger candidates. I corrected him by saying I had neither recruited, supported or endorsed any of those candidates. In fact, two of them I have never met or talked to prior to them qualifying to run. I have no idea how they would be as council members or mayor.

What we do know is how the incumbent mayor and council members have been while in office. They have long, long voting records for all to see. It's hard to imagine any others could do worse than them.

Over the next couple months, I will be writing a lot about the Lenoir City incumbents actions and voting records. Then it will be up to city voters to decide if they want four more years of the same thing or if they're ready for a change.
