Budget Vote Tonight
| The Loudon County Commission will meet tonight, 6/24,
to consider the 2019-2020 budget. By far, the most controversial aspect
of the new budget has been the request from Loudon County sheriff, Tim
Guider for the sheriff department and the jail. Multiple meetings of the county budget committee with the sheriff have resulted in a recommendation that mostly funds the sheriff's request but will not require a property tax increase. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm at the Loudon County courthouse annex. |
