2025 Budget Underway

The Loudon County commission, budget committee, is well under way in preparing the 2025-2026 budget to present to the full commission in June.  The budget committee meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday during April and May to work through all the department requests with the hope to have the budget ready for adoption by the end of June.

County commission oversees the funding and operations of more than 75 departments and budgets with an over all budget of more than $105,000,000.00. The commission takes every budget and department seriously and reviews each and everyone of them to ensure every department's needs are met and that county services to the public are provided at the best cost to the tax payers.

If all goes well, the budget will be adopted on June 30th.
