There will be NO property tax increase again this year, the thirteen consecutive year with no property tax increase. Cost of living raises will be provided for all employees and funding for several departments will be increased due to county/city growth.

This year, for the first time in many, many years, the Loudon County school board presented a balanced budget request and are not asking for any new tax revenues. Kudos to the board.

Managing the nearly $90,000,000.00 budget and being responsible with tax payers money is commissioners number one job and we take it seriously. We can be fiscally responsible while providing county residents the services they need and expect.
