Bomb Threats

Little after 7:00 pm Friday, bomb threats were made against four different local businesses. The targets were Walmart, Home Depot, Food City and Weigels at Eaton Crossroads. The threat claimed there were fertilizer and diesel fuel bombs with timers.

These threats turned out to be false but caused a lot of disruption for the businesses and customers.

This is the second local bomb threat made in about a month. Back on August 16, a similar threat was made against the Walmart.

Hopefully, authorities will catch those making the bomb threats.
