Bitcoin Mining Update
| At last week's county commission workshop, I
presented the issue of Bitcoin mining and the problems that can be
associated with such facilities, mainly the noise level.
At tonight's commission meeting, we will vote on placing a temporary moratorium on any more Bitcoin mining operations in the county until the planning commission can research the matter and determine where or if there are locations suitable for such things in the county. At last weeks meeting, representatives of GRIID were on hand to discuss their Bitcoin operation and provided the information below.
