To my Lenoir City family,

I have been honored to serve as director of schools since January 1, 2013.Our joint focus has been on providing educational opportunities to all students so they can pursue their dreams. I am very proud of the work we have done together. 

The time has come for me to take the next step to retire and pursue other interests with my family. Many years ago, I was called to be an educator, not to teach a subject but to work with people. Throughout my career, I have been blessed to work along side likeminded professionals in our schools. I greatly appreciate your commitment to make a difference in lives every day.

It is my intent to retire effective June 30, 2024. I will continue to advocate for educators and students as I transition to new opportunities.
