The Lenoir City election will see three challengers to the three incumbent council members and for the first time as mayor, Tony Aikens will face a challenger.

Loudon will have four candidates for two council seats. Eric Newman is the only incumbent on the ballot since the passing of Bear Webb. 

In Greenback, the incumbent mayor and all four incumbent aldermen are running unopposed.

The incumbent Philadelphia mayor is running unopposed. Two of the incumbent aldermen are running for re-election with three new candidates also seeking an alderman seat.

All the city council and alderman seats are known as at large. This means the top vote getters in the elections win seats.
