Here we are about to go into the March 5th election and it's already time to discuss the August election. Today, 2/5/24, will be the first day to pick up qualifying petitions for the August general and primary election. Local election of interest will be the Lenoir City school board where three members seats will be on the ballot. Glenn McNish, Mitch Ledbetter and Rick Chadwick seats will be on the ballot. There will be one Loudon County school board seat on the August ballot. Incumbent county board member, Melissa Browder (R) will be challenged by Dr. Jan Haun (D).
