Hurley Deadline Update
| With so many having interest in the ongoing Julia
Hurley saga, I received an update form District Attorney, Russell
Johnson Friday. Below is his statement on the matter.
"Attorney T Scott Jones and I spoke as recently as Thursday. He was going to speak to his client one last time. I have not heard the result of that conversation yet. The murder in Lenoir City and the grand jury meeting on Friday have taken most of my time, on top of dealing with meetings about our courts shutting down late Friday. I anticipate revisiting the issue at the first of the week and getting something filed if there is no progress." Russell Johnson |
