Asian Invasion 14
Just a reminder, a representative from the Walton
Global, partial owner with 140 Asian investors of the 400 acres in
Hotchkiss Valley, is still suppose to be at tonight's 1/22, county
commission workshop. The workshop will begin at 6:00 pm at the Annex in
Loudon. This meeting, as are all commission meetings, is open to the
public and everyone is welcome to attend.
All county commission meetings are live streamed and recorded. You can watch live or watch at your convenience. Below is a link to the county Youtube page. Last month, Anthony Sparrow, with Walton Global, contacted the county mayor's office asking to address to the commission. He was told he could address commission and when to be here. Mr. Sparrow will be permitted to address commission at the beginning of the meeting, just like anyone else, with the five minute time limit. Given that I doubt Mr. Sparrow will be able to thoroughly address the number of concerns and questions commissioners might have, I will have additional time, under my name, on the agenda for him to speak further. If Mr. Sparrow is willing to remain after the meeting, those from the community, at the meeting, could have an opportunity to ask questions of him. We'll just have to see how it all plays out. I know I have a lot of questions, but I'm very interested to hear what Mr. Sparrow has to say and explain the activities in the valley. Below are a few previous stories on the Hotchkiss Valley property.
